My name is Amina Doosti, a self-taught artist and painter from Takhar Province, Afghanistan. With over ten years of experience in the field of art and a bachelor’s degree, I pursue my artistic and business activities alongside my formal employment.
My professional experience includes painting, drawing, calligraphy, mural painting, and art education. I established my art business with the aim of promoting and marketing artistic works while transforming creative skills into a sustainable source of income.
My products and services include oil paintings, watercolor paintings, pencil and charcoal drawings, design, calligraphy, and mural painting. In addition, I produce and market artworks created by both myself and my students.
Currently, I do not employ permanent staff and personally manage production, training, and business operations. My students also participate in creating artworks, gaining practical experience and strengthening their artistic skills through this process.
My long-term goal is to expand the studio, increase production and sales capacity, promote artworks created by women and girls, and create greater opportunities for their artistic education, employment, and income generation.
