My name is Golafroz Amani and I am from Ghor Province, Afghanistan. I completed my education up to 14th grade in Islamic Studies, and I currently live with my husband and seven children.

I have more than fourteen years of work experience, and for the past four years, I have been working in the field of handmade ceremonial leather-embroidered clothing. I started this business in order to have a stable income for my family, and also to create job opportunities for young girls who are unable to continue their education and for women who are the breadwinners of their families.

Our products include:

• Hand-embroidered ceremonial leather dresses

• Leather-embroidered shawls and scarves

At the moment, we have a team of four employees. Despite challenges such as limited sales and lack of financial support, we continue our business with passion and dedication.

My goal is to grow and expand this business so that it becomes a reliable source of income in the current difficult economic situation, and to create more job opportunities for women and girls who need work and financial independence.
