My name is Fatema Noori, and I am an entrepreneur from Herat, Afghanistan. I specialize in producing traditional Hazaragi and Afghan Gand clothing. I studied Public Administration at university for two years; however, due to the situation in the country, I was unable to continue my education. Later, I completed a Graphic Design course, which further strengthened my creative skills.
I live with my family, including my parents, sister, and brother. Previously, I worked as a graphic designer for an online page and also worked as a tailor.
I started my business around two years ago. In the beginning, I worked offline through a physical shop, and a few months ago, I launched my online store as well. I started this business to use my experience, talent, and creativity in tailoring and design to improve my life and also provide job opportunities for other women.
Currently, my main products are Hazaragi and Afghan Gand clothing. In the future, we plan to expand our product line to include items such as scarves and handbags. I currently employ two staff members.
My long-term goal is to establish my own unique fashion brand. As my work grows, I hope to open branches in other countries and create employment opportunities for women, especially those who have been deprived of education.
