Vendor Biography

A group of hardworking, women-led households, with financial support from WFP and implementation by CHA, have successfully completed a six-month training program in bead-weaving. Each of these women has faced significant economic and social challenges, yet they began their journey of empowerment from basic training and have now entered the job market as skilled and independent producers.

Throughout this program, they acquired professional skills in design, weaving, artistic beadwork, as well as managerial abilities such as pricing, quality control, marketing, and income management. The results of their efforts can now be seen in the form of high-quality, artistic, and authentic products—items that are currently showcased in the Women’s Online Market, providing them access to wider market opportunities.

These women are a clear symbol of strength, resilience, and self-reliance in their communities; women who, despite hardships, chose to start a new path, learn new skills, and take strong steps toward supporting their families. Their presence in the online market is not only the beginning of a new economic journey, but also a representation of empowerment, hope, and independence for hundreds of other women.
