Suraya Daqiq, born in 1985 in Herat, lives with her husband and four children. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Herat University. In 2006, she conducted research in the field of saffron, and in 2019, she began studying saffron cultivation using the aeroponics method at Qom University in Iran. Fortunately, she has been working in the saffron industry and officially started her activities in 2019 in Herat.
In 2019, Suraya Daqiq founded the “Gohar Naz Agricultural and Livestock Saffron Company.” This company, registered under number 59141 with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan, began its activities after Suraya Daqiq completed her saffron aeroponics training in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Gohar Naz Company is involved in the cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging of agricultural products, including saffron, dried fruits, and nuts. The company primarily focuses on greenhouse saffron cultivation with the goal of producing high-quality, export-standard products.
