About the Founder
Anita Noor, born in 2003 in Kabul, is the founder and CEO of Hula. With a strong passion for technology and graphic design from a young age, she began her professional journey as a self-taught graphic artist. After political changes in 2020 interrupted her university studies in Computer Science, Anita turned adversity into opportunity by learning handicrafts and starting a small home-based business.
Through dedication, creativity, and leadership, she transformed that small beginning into Hula—an established brand that now operates across three production lines and employs talented Afghan women. Anita is committed to empowering girls who have been denied education and work opportunities by offering training and employment within the company. Today, she continues to build Hula with the belief that even small efforts can create meaningful impact for women, families, and the future of Afghanistan.
