I am Safia Suri, daughter of Nisar Ahmad, born in 1991 (1370) in Herat province, Enjil district, Muldan village. I currently reside in Herat, 7th District, Silk Road. I graduated in Graphic Design from Herat University in 2016 (1395) and in Midwifery from the Avance Institute of Health Sciences in 2021 (1400). I am married and a mother of three children.
During my studies, I worked as a trainee announcer at Radio Mojda and also served as an administrative manager at Sorush Kindergarten. After graduating from university, on 29 January 2017 (9/11/1395) I joined the Avance Institute as an administrative staff member, and until 20 May 2024 (30/2/1403) I held various positions including teaching manager, financial and administrative manager, and general manager.
Due to my interest in pursuing personal initiatives, I resigned and on 1 September 2024 (10/6/1403) obtained a business license from the Herat Provincial Directorate of Industry and Commerce. I established my own office in the 7th District, Silk Road, where I work with a team of 10 women and 4 men. Our products include saffron, honey, various syrups, jams, pickles, dried vegetables, and local foods.
The goal of my company is to promote the use of local agricultural products, ensure standard processing and packaging of food products, and create employment opportunities for women.
